Named in honor of both Aligarh Muslim University and the esteemed Mr. Minto, who pioneered modern education in India, Minto Circle was established in 1975 with a noble mission. From its humble beginnings at Raj Bagh in Srinagar to its current sprawling campus, Minto Circle has remained dedicated to providing holistic education to students from diverse backgrounds.

At Minto Circle, our mission goes beyond academic excellence. We strive to empower students with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to excel not only in their studies but also in their personal and professional lives. Our aim is to instill in each student a deep understanding of themselves, the world around them, and the laws of nature.

Our journey traces back to the visionary Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, who laid the foundation for the Muhammadan Anglo Oriental College in 1875, which later evolved into Aligarh Muslim University. The school, initially known as the Muhammadan Anglo Oriental Collegiate School, was later affectionately called Minto Circle, honoring the generous contribution of Lord Minto, the then Viceroy of India.

Today, Minto Circle, now known as Syedna Tahir Saifuddin School, remains committed to its founding principles of academic distinction and moral values. With a modern infrastructure comprising 52 well-equipped rooms, a library, playgrounds, and state-of-the-art laboratories, we provide a nurturing environment for students to thrive.
